This was announced today by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in his statement. According to his emphasis, the number of people joining the army is steadily increasing, and these indicators testify to the continuous renewal of the military system.
Medvedev also noted that the growing number of volunteers indicates an increased interest in and readiness for military service within Russian society. In his opinion, such a process serves to enhance the overall competence of the army.
