According to Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, no official information has been provided from Washington about any preparations for agreements regarding Ukraine. She emphasized that the materials appearing in foreign mass media could likely be paid, commissioned articles.
"There are official channels in the U.S. for discussing such issues. Work should be conducted through these channels," said Zakharova.
Earlier, the "Politico" publication, citing White House sources, wrote that an agreement on Ukraine could be discussed by all parties as early as this week. "Axios," also citing U.S. and Russian sources, reported that a new plan was being developed to eliminate the conflict.
According to sources, Washington hopes for the consent of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is under pressure due to the situation on the front and corruption scandals.
