The head of state has now announced that daily receptions for district and regional health leaders will be held in neighborhoods.

"This way, communication with the people will be established, people will be satisfied, and it will provide a genuine reason for the healthcare system. Let every leader put themselves in the patient's place and see for themselves how much time is spent in a polyclinic in a single day. Only then will they feel the real problems," said the President.

It was also noted that an integrated system will be introduced where district and regional chief doctors will work directly with republican centers. Based on the state and dynamics of diseases in their area, they will place orders for treatment and prevention with the centers.

Starting in 2026, a new system for appointing leadership positions will be implemented —

"Now, leadership and chief physician positions in all medical institutions will be separated. Leaders will be selected from among people with management skills and entrepreneurial experience."

The President also announced an update to the incentive system. The most advanced district and regional health leaders who have excelled in disease prevention, improved treatment, and fully completed digitalization will receive:

The honorary title "Honored Healthcare Worker of Uzbekistan";

Orders and medals;

A monetary award of 30 million soums;

500 million soums will be allocated to improve the infrastructure of the institution they lead.

Furthermore, the two best leaders from each region will be sent to management courses in advanced countries such as the USA, Germany, Great Britain, Korea, and Turkey.
