The valuable items stolen from the famous Louvre museum in Paris are valued at 88 million euros. According to the prosecutor's office, the criminals entered the museum on October 19th wearing employee uniforms and took 9 items of historical significance in just 4 minutes.

Among them are memorabilia ranging from a tiara, brooch, and bows adorned with thousands of diamonds and pearls that belonged to Empress Eugénie, to corals given by Napoleon. The prosecutor expressed hope that the criminals would not simply melt down the valuable items. At the moment, four suspects have been identified, but it is said that there may be other persons involved in the crime.

French officials described this incident as an "assault on the historical heritage" and promised that the criminals would be held accountable and the memorabilia would be returned.
