The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has updated the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum, effective from October 17.
— The US dollar — decreased by 72.68 soums, to 12,160.99 soums
— The Euro — decreased by 55.38 soums, to 14,178.50 soums
— The Russian ruble — decreased by 0.92 soums, to 153.92 soums
The rates are announced by the Central Bank for informational purposes, and commercial banks can set their own practices based on these rates.
