The Central Bank announced the exchange rates effective on Monday, October 6. A noticeable decrease was observed in the values of the dollar, euro, and ruble.
According to the new rate:
The US dollar became cheaper by 37.58 soums, reaching 12,022.90 soums,
The euro decreased by 130.67 soums, amounting to 14,025.92 soums,
The Russian ruble decreased by 2.22 soums, equaling 144.75 soums.
In recent weeks, the dollar exchange rate had been maintaining stability. However, according to the situation on October 6, such a sharp decrease in one day is explained by short-term fluctuations in the currency market.
