The State Security Service and customs authorities conducted a major operation in Fergana. It was determined that a citizen born in 1987 had illegally brought in a large quantity of gold items from Kyrgyzstan via bypass routes.
He was apprehended while delivering the products to another citizen, born in 1997 and residing in the Jalalquduq district of the Andijan region, who was waiting for him in the city of Fergana.
The total weight of the gold items is said to be 5 kg 706 grams, with an initial value of 5 billion 746 million soums.
Pre-investigation checks are currently being conducted regarding this case.
