With the assistance of the staff of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and the Migration Agency, sixteen of our compatriots who found themselves in a difficult situation in Yekaterinburg, Russia, were brought to the Homeland today.
This humanitarian assistance was carried out within the framework of the "Return to Homeland" initiative announced in Uzbekistan from July 30 to August 30 of this year.
The majority of our returned compatriots consist of mothers and their minor children.
These compatriots were escorted to Uzbekistan on August 30 on a flight from Yekaterinburg to Tashkent by diplomats.
