During a rapid operation conducted in Surkhandarya region in collaboration with DXX border troops and internal affairs agencies, two individuals born in 2005-2006 were caught while attempting to bring in over 20 kg of "opium" and 41 kg of "hashish" from Tajikistan. Subsequently, their accomplices were also detained.
In an operation in the Tashkent region, 7.9 kg of "Mephedrone" hidden inside marble stones that entered the country via Kazakhstan was found. The investigation revealed a plan to bring these substances from Russia and deliver them to a buyer in Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, in the Fergana region, a woman and her son, who were engaged in acquiring and selling plant-based drugs from Afghan drug dealers, were also detained. Nearly 10 kg of "opium" and "hashish" were confiscated from them.
A total of 79 kg and 744 grams of plant-based drugs were taken out of circulation. A criminal case has been initiated against all suspects, and detention as a preventive measure has been applied.
