More than 100 Uzbek citizens in critical life situations in St. Petersburg, Russia, are being repatriated to their homeland, reports "Dunyo" IA.
This humanitarian assistance is being carried out within the framework of the "Return to Homeland" project announced in Uzbekistan from July 30 to August 30, with the support of our country's Consulate General and the Migration Agency's representative office.
As part of the campaign, certificates for returning to the homeland and air tickets were provided to over 100 Uzbek citizens in critical life situations in St. Petersburg. They will be sent to Uzbekistan on August 18.
In addition, material assistance was provided to 33 of our compatriots, including those in temporary detention centers for foreign citizens and fellow citizens in severe financial distress.
