Czech President Petr Pavel signed a law on the partial decriminalization of cannabis, reports zamon.uz.
According to this law, Czech citizens can now store up to 100 grams of marijuana in their homes and cultivate up to three plants of this crop.
“If the stored amount ranges from 100 to 200 grams or the number of cultivated plants is between four and five, this will result in administrative liability. Larger quantities will be treated as a criminal offense,” the relevant law states.
A similar measure came into force in Germany on April 1, 2024. At that time, the cannabis plant was removed from the list of prohibited substances under the Narcotics Law. Thus, cultivation of up to three cannabis plants for personal use was permitted.
