The head of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, sent a letter to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev here:

On behalf of the entire football community, I give you and all the people of Uzbekistan permission to celebrate this worthy and historic achievement.
This remarkable success is the result of the collective effort and unwavering determination of everyone involved. I extend my sincere congratulations to you, your government, the Uzbekistan football association, the players, the coach, all the staff and officials, and, of course, the passionate fans.
Dear President, I wish you success in the FIFA World Cup 2026 and eagerly look forward to another opportunity to meet with you, Your Excellency."
