Registration for applicants for the 2025-2026 academic year started today, June 5. This was reported by the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills.
It is noted that from 2024, entrance exams for state higher and vocational education institutions (excluding vocational schools) will be conducted simultaneously according to the principle of "test first, then selection".
In this regard, applicants will participate in the selection to enter first into bachelor's degree programs of higher education based on the scores they have accumulated from the test, and then into professional education institutions.
The entrance exams for higher and professional education institutions will be held in July-August.
The admission process to the bachelor's programs of state higher education institutions is carried out in the following 2 stages:
In the first stage, applicants register from June 5 to June 25 (including June 25) to take the test and choose the set of subjects for the test, the language of instruction, and the region for taking the test, as well as the state HEI where they will take the professional (creative) exam if it is part of the entrance exams.
In the second stage, after the completion of the test exams, applicants have 15 days to choose the higher education institution, the bachelor's degree program, and the form of study. Applicants who have not chosen the higher education institution, the bachelor's degree program, and the form of study will not be admitted to the final selection.
Applicants who wish to study at professional education institutions choose the professional education institution, profession, and specialty, as well as the form of study within 10 days after the announcement of the final results of admission to HEIs.
