Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed his acceptance of the peace proposal submitted by US Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Whitkoff.

The document provides for a two-month truce in Gaza and the release of 10 hostages.

Representatives of "HAMAS" confirmed that they received this offer through intermediaries, but stated that they are currently "reviewing it responsibly."

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen previously reminded that the EU recognizes Israel's right to self-defense, but actions related to civilian casualties must comply with international law.
