The Uzbekistan national team will play the decisive matches of the third stage of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers at the beginning of June.
Head coach Timur Kapadze has called up the following players for the games against the UAE (June 5) and Qatar (June 10). Experienced defender Islom Tukhtakhujaev has received a call-up after several years' hiatus. Igor Sergeev and Aziz Turgunboev have also returned to the squad.
The camp will start on May 28 and will continue in the UAE from May 29.
We remind that if Uzbekistan does not lose away to the UAE, they will secure their World Cup berth ahead of schedule.
