In Kashkadarya and Khorezm, two officials were caught accepting money from citizens, promising to employ them for a bribe. The State Security Service informed "Darakchi.uz" about this.
A person born in 1992, who worked as a communications operator in the Tashkent City Justice Department, promised to get a citizen from the Khorezm region to work in the internal affairs bodies through his "official acquaintances." He also set a price depending on the type of position - $1,500 for soldiers and $2,000 for officers.
During an operative event conducted by the Khorezm Regional Department of the State Security Service in cooperation with the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and the Internal Affairs Department, he was detained while receiving 1,900 US dollars and 1,295,000 soums through an intermediary.
In Kashkadarya region, an employee of the Karshi city branch of the National Guard was detained while receiving $2,000 in exchange for hiring a citizen from Koson district for employment in the regional DIA.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against these individuals under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 28,211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigations are underway.
