President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Chancellor Friedrich Merz of the Federal Republic of Germany on his election to this position and expressed his best wishes.

Our state leader expressed his confidence in his letter that under Chancellor's leadership, the government will continue to strengthen its position as a leading democratic and economically developed country in the world.

It was emphasized that Uzbekistan gives priority to deepening multifaceted and long-term relations with Germany, a traditional and time-tested important partner in the European Union.

"I am confident that with our joint efforts, the partnership in priority areas such as the 'green' economy, investments, infrastructure, technologies, education, healthcare, ecology, and others will rapidly develop and reach a completely new level in the future,"
