A tragic road traffic accident occurred in the Urgut district of Samarkand region, involving a collision between a Cobalt and a Zhiguli.
According to the report, on April 30 of this year, at around 10:30 am, in the territory of the “Sariqtepa” neighborhood passing through the Urgut district on the D-066 road at the 66th kilometer, a driver of a Cobalt model car, while driving along the Urgut-Kenagas route, attempted to overtake a vehicle moving ahead in the same direction by entering the oncoming lane. At that moment, it collided with an oncoming VAZ-21-063 model vehicle, causing a traffic accident.
As a result of the accident, those injured were taken to the district medical association. Preliminary investigation actions are currently being carried out by the Urgut District Department of Internal Affairs, according to the report.
