Earlier, the Ukraine-related project “Хочу жить” announced the list of nearly 1100 Uzbekistan citizens who had signed contracts with the Russian army to participate in the war against Ukraine.
The Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahror Burhanov, has announced that the information is being verified by the competent authorities here.
He noted that if the information is confirmed, appropriate measures will be taken.
According to him, Uzbekistan officials consistently declare that “they do not allow the recruitment of Uzbekistan citizens into foreign military actions”.
