A widespread power outage in Spain led to a complete halt in train operations across the country. This was reported by Spain's Renfe rail operator here.
"At 12:30, a power cut occurred across the entire national electricity grid. Trains were stopped at all stations and are not being dispatched," said in the message from network X.
In addition, Madrid's Barajas International Airport was left without power, as reported by Euronews channel.
According to the information, the power outage also led to disruptions in the operations of other airports. According to the channel, subway services were halted in the capitals of Spain and Portugal, and trains were stuck in tunnels between stations.
