President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on February 6 to discuss the chemical industry's plans for 2025.

It was noted that in recent years there has been significant change in this sector, with wide investment opportunities opened for creating new technological chains, yet the activities of major chemical plants are still not at the level of modern requirements.

Therefore, in a critical spirit, the meeting discussed the pressing issues in the field. Our state leader clearly pointed out the untapped opportunities and problems that need to be solved to the officials.

For instance, by accelerating the introduction of advanced technologies, it is possible to increase the added value in chemical enterprises by several times over the current level.

Our President pointed out the shortcomings in this area and set the task of significantly increasing high-technology investment projects.

The government was given strict instructions to quickly resolve the problems in the sector, fully utilize the available opportunities, and hasten the implementation of projects.

Officials were given specific tasks to digitalize every enterprise in the sector, make rational use of capacities, increase energy efficiency, and reduce costs.
