The permanent population in Uzbekistan has exceeded 37.5 million.

According to the Statistics Agency, as of January 1, 2025, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 37,543,167 people. 

This figure as of January 20, 2025, was 37,576,214 people. Of these: 

Number of women – 18.6 million people

Number of men – 18.9 million people
