On February 17, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for a working visit to the United States of America at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump.
As previously reported, the first summit of the Peace Council, one of whose founding states is Uzbekistan, will be held in Washington D.C.
During the upcoming visit, meetings with U.S. officials and a number of business events are also planned.
