According to the information from the courts of the Fergana region, the Kokand city court on December 17 imposed a 10-day administrative detention on citizen I.S., born in 1971, who was engaged in folk medicine.

It was established that he was carrying out his activities despite the expiration of the validity period of the certificate issued by the Association of Folk Medicine of Uzbekistan.

The court found I.S. guilty under Part 3 of Article 59-5 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility — violation of legislation on folk medicine.

It is noted that the court's decision can be appealed through an appellate or cassation complaint in the prescribed manner.
