Uzbekistan national team head coach Fabio Cannavaro, sharing his thoughts ahead of the World Cup draw, emphasized the excitement within the team and among the fans. According to him, it is difficult to predict the composition of opponents in advance, but there is great hope that the draw results will be favorable for Uzbekistan.

The draw ceremony, which will take place on December 5 at 22:00 Tashkent time, will determine the group stage of the World Championship, which will feature 48 teams for the first time in history. There, Uzbekistan will also learn its opponents.

The event will be attended by the leadership of the UFA, the coaching staff led by Cannavaro, and, at FIFA's invitation, the legend of Uzbek football, Mirjalol Kasimov.
