A person selling uncertified medicines in Tashkent city has been detained.

Regarding this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under the relevant article of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.

An urgent operation was conducted in collaboration with the Department's Uchtepa district division under the General Prosecutor's Office and Customs officials.

During the operation, citizen D.N., who had been engaged in the illegal trade of medicines, was caught red-handed while selling 542 boxes of 9 different types of medicines, manufactured abroad and lacking the proper documentation, to citizen B.S. for 6,400 US dollars.
According to expert conclusions, it was noted that the medicines taken as material evidence did not have conformity certificates formalized, and the storage conditions were not maintained.
A criminal case has been initiated under the relevant article of the Criminal Code regarding this situation, and investigative actions are being carried out.
