An aircraft with an unknown cargo from Russia has arrived in Venezuela.

It was noted that a plane belonging to the sanctioned company Aviacon SitoTrans flew from Russia to Venezuela with an unknown cargo.

According to FlightRadar24 data, an Il-76TD Russian aircraft flew from Russia on October 22, passing through Armenia, Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, and Mauritania.

It is known that the company "Aviacon Zitotrans" was added to the US sanctions list in January 2023 due to its weapons transportation activities.

This cargo flight was carried out against the backdrop of statements by former US President Donald Trump about conducting a "ground operation" in Venezuela.
