As of January 1, 2025, the number of citizens aged 90 and over in Uzbekistan was 18,915. Of these, 66.3 percent were women and 34.6 percent were men.

According to data from the "Family and Gender" Scientific Research Institute, the largest numbers of long-livers live in the Fergana (2,582 people), Tashkent city (2,155 people), and Kashkadarya (2,011 people) regions. Specialists forecast that by 2030, this figure will more than double, exceeding 44 thousand people.

Social activity is cited as a key factor for longevity — 76.3 percent of survey participants emphasized that an active lifestyle helps a person stay healthy.

Huvaido momo from Fergana, aged 130 (born in 1895), is recognized as the oldest citizen in Uzbekistan. Due to the absence of an official birth record, a judicial process to establish the fact of her birth was carried out.

It is said that Huvaido momo could be entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
