On August 24, Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.
On his X (Twitter) page, Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the sincere congratulations and expressed confidence in the further development of cooperation and friendly relations between the two states.
He also wrote that he particularly values Uzbekistan's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and its humanitarian initiatives to ensure Ukrainian children can vacation in the country.
