Sudden floods caused by torrential rains have resulted in the deaths of over 400 people in Pakistan, Indian-administered Kashmir, and parts of Nepal, with several others missing.
Local authorities reported on Saturday that at least 321 people were killed within 48 hours in northwestern Pakistan, with more than ten villages in the Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province destroyed due to flooding.
Washed-out roads and landslides have hindered emergency personnel from reaching affected populations in Buner, where fears remain that dozens more may still be trapped under debris.
