Iran: Not Russia, Chinese weapons are preferred.

Iran has begun restoring its military capabilities after a 12-day conflict with Israel.

According to Newsweek, Iran intends to acquire its most crucial military equipment specifically from China.

Experts explain this by Russia's current limited capabilities—amid the Ukraine war, the Kremlin is struggling to deliver large volumes of military products in a short time.

Tehran is placing particular emphasis on modernizing its air defense systems. China, in this regard, can offer proposals in two directions:

– Defense systems based on Russia's renowned S-300 system

– as well as the J-10 fighter jets, which have been tested in clashes with Pakistan and India.

Experts believe that Iran's decision reflects not only military strategy but also a new geopolitical balance in the region.
